CleanFUEL USA is excited to play an important role in today's announcement that Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky is implementing propane autogas powered equipment and a CleanFUEL USA refueling dispenser.

The P7100 dispenser is the first CleanFUEL USA dispenser delivered that includes eCONNECT, the propane autogas industry’s first complete fuel network management system for electronic dispensers. The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) generously donated propane-powered off-road and stationary equipment, including the CleanFUEL USA dispenser, totaling more than $62,000.

"Shipping our first eCONNECT dispenser is an important milestone for us, and we are thrilled that Mammoth Cave will be able to implement it right away to experience significant efficiency strides in fuel management," said Curtis Donaldson, founder and managing partner.

eCONNECT allows fleet managers and site operators to economically monitor and control fuel inventories faster and easier than ever before with real-time data insight, flexible report storage and remote access capabilities.

Mammoth Cave National Park (MCNP), established as a unit of the National Park Service in 1941, is home to the world's longest known cave system — more than 400 miles have been mapped and surveyed to date. The park preserves the vast underground cave system and 53,000 acres of rolling hills above, as well as part of the Green River Valley.

MCNP’s efforts in sustainability began in the late 1990’s when they partnered with the Kentucky Clean Fuels Coalition (KCFC), a Clean Cities Coalition partner. KCFC was instrumental in cultivating MCNP’s relationship with PERC.

"Our relationship with Mammoth Cave and Kentucky Clean Fuels Coalition began over 10 years ago, and we are happy to see them continue to advance their sustainability goals by adding clean burning, domestically produced propane autogas equipment to their beautiful park, and to see a success like this for the National Park Service’s Green Parks Plan," added Donaldson.
